The Garrison Institute — a non-profit that explores the intersection of contemplative practice, science, creativity, and systems — has appointed Chris Marblo as its new Executive Director. Marblo has an extensive background in arts, teaching, and administration, and studied religion in his two degrees. In a post, the organization’s founding president emerita and Board Chair, Diana Calthorpe Rose, said,
“Chris is the right person to lead the Institute in its second, transformative decade… He first came to our attention because of his track record directing successful arts and educational organizations, and his stellar reputation as an executive. But we were won over by his vocation as an educator, his commitment to creativity, and his calm, insightful, leadership style. The Board voted unanimously to appoint him.”
