In Wednesday night’s Colbert Report, Stephen told the Nation about the Dalai Lama’s recent statement regarding the future of his post — that is, that there may be no need for it. Irreverence — no surprise — ensued, including Colbert’s notions that Obama is a “secret Buddhist” and that Stephen himself should serve as the Fifteenth Dalai Lama. Watch the video here.
