As you may have heard, a group of folks from Lion’s Roar made our way to the Wisdom 2.0 conference in Silicon Valley this past weekend. Lion’s Roar was proud to co-sponsor of the event, which smartly brought people together to discuss the merging of wisdom and technology. For those who didn’t attend: featured speakers included American meditation pioneers Jon Kabat-Zinn, Sharon Salzberg and Jack Kornfield, as well as execs from Google, Zynga, Facebook, Twitter and eBay, and even the US Congress’s main mindfulness advocate, Ohio’s Tim Ryan.

Mountain View, California’s Computer History Museum served as the event’s venue, and the place was buzzing with interesting people, so we took what little break-time there was to try and have conversations with as many as we could, a couple even joining us on camera. On Day One, I had the good fortune to speak with Marguerite Manteau-Rao, the blogger behind the sharp mindfulness-practice blog, Mind Deep. In this short video she shares her professional and personal takes on Wisdom 2.0.

After shooting, Marguerite told me she already had some words about Wisdom 2.0 brewing for Mind Deep, and sure enough, she’s already published a post called “Wisdom 2.0 From the Inside Out.”

My thanks to Marguerite for speaking with me — though perhaps she won’t see this right away; she’s also now posted that she’s going to be taking up a healthy new habit: deliberately making some time to disconnect.

Thanks for watching!
