Producer/director/writer Mary Bosakowski is developing a new film about Claude Anshin Thomas, the veteran and Zen monk who authored the harrowing memoir At Hell’s Gate: A Soldier’s Journey from War to Peace. Titled After the War, the film is, according to Bosakowski, “a purely independent documentary, a labor of love driven by a fascinating story and an excellent creative team.” As such, she’s using the popular new Kickstarter method of raising funds to complete the film. That is, she’s created a page on Kickstarter.com, where you can go to learn about the film, watch the trailer, and contribute to the funds needed to complete it. To do so, click here.
