Sources including Tibet Post International and Voice of America are reporting a new Tibetan death caused by self-immolation in protest of Chinese rule.
Norchuk, a forty-seven-year-old woman, “set herself on fire in Ngaba County, Amdho Region of north-eastern Tibet,” TPI reports. Hers marks the 136th verified death of its kind since February, 2009, and the first of 2015.
