No previous meditation experience? Not to worry, as you’ll receive the introductory training you need. If you’re already a meditator, you’ll be offered support to go deeper in your practice. All participants, no matter their level of experience, will have the opportunity to meet and talk with the teachers in small groups. The Waking Up in Every Moment program begins on Wednesday evening with a two-day mini-meditation retreat that includes periods of silence, walking, and sitting meditation under the guidance of Sylvia Boorstein, Melissa Blacker, and Tsoknyi Rinpoche. It’s a precious opportunity to experience the benefit of retreat in a supportive environment and learn how to apply practice to all aspects of your life.

On Friday evening, the retreat opens up to celebrate our journey together and come together as a community. Throughout the weekend Sylvia Boorstein, Melissa Blacker, and Tsoknyi Rinpoche offer teachings and guidance on how to use everyday life experiences as a way to wake up and embrace each moment.
