Chris Malcomb lives in Berkeley, California. His essays have appeared in periodicals such as The Sun, San Francisco Chronicle Magazine, Narrative, Common Ground, Under the Sun, Teachers & Writers, and Under the Gum Tree. He has led workshops for the Prison University Project at San Quentin and the Bay Area Teacher Training Institute, and he is the founder of The Mindful Writer, which offers classes and coaching in mindfulness and creative writing throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
