Jake Adelstein was a reporter for more than a decade with the Yomiuri Shinbun, Japan’s largest newspaper. He also served as chief investigator in 2006 and 2007 for a U.S. State Department study on human trafficking in Japan. He is the author of Tokyo Vice: An American Reporter on the Police Beat in Japan.
