Rev. Marvin Harada

Rev. Marvin Harada is a minister in the Jodo Shinshu tradition of Pure Land Buddhism and head minister at the Orange County Buddhist Church in California. A third-generation Japanese American, Marvin brings warmth, insight, and decades of temple leadership to his teaching. He has served Buddhist communities across the United States and is known for making Buddhist teachings accessible and relevant to contemporary life. He is also a member of Lion’s Roar’s board of directors.
