Subscription Scholarship Application
Lion’s Roar has introduced digital subscriptions to LionsRoar.com. Revenue from online subscriptions allows Lion’s Roar to continue to create original and independent Buddhist journalism, bringing dharma teachings, practice instructions, and important Buddhist issues and discussions to readers right where they are.
We understand and appreciate that not all readers can afford the full price of an online subscription. Through the generosity of Lion’s Roar’s community of supporters, reduced-rate subscription scholarships are available to ensure that there are lower-cost options for a one-year LionsRoar.com online subscription.
Subscription scholarships offer full, complete, and unlimited access to all content on LionsRoar.com for one year. By accepting a subscription scholarship, you agree to allow the Lion’s Roar Foundation to share your answers (anonymously and unattributed) with our community of supporters. We will always protect your privacy and identity and will never share your contact information.
To apply for a subscription scholarship you’ll need to register and complete the application form.

Please contact us if any of the following conditions apply to your inquiry:
- You do not have a credit card.
- You cannot afford to pay any amount.
- You do not have a computer or internet access, and I’m seeking a scholarship for a print-only subscription
- You are applying on behalf of someone in a U.S. or Canadian prison.
