Jack Kornfield shares a new talk and guided meditation to help us navigate the global anxiety of the coronavirus pandemic with courage.
Buddhist teacher Jack Kornfield has shared a new video featuring helpful wisdom for working with difficulty in the coronavirus era, “Courage in Our Difficult Time.” Beyond the virus itself, he says, “part of what’s gone viral is fear.” He draws on examples from the life of the Buddha, shares poetry and quotes, and offers his own wisdom and “food for the heart” to help us have courage as we face the unknown.
“Let your heart soften and hold it all with compassion,” Kornfield says before leading us through a 20 minute guided meditation practice.
“Live in a great heart of love,” he says. “It is who you really are.”
