About the Live Series
This February, we’re opening access to our teacher-in-residence series — one part of the Lion’s Roar membership experience. As a member, this is just one of the ways to engage with in-depth teachings, practices, and a broader community committed to living with more clarity and compassion.

February with Jon Kabat-Zinn
This February, discover embodied wakefulness / awareness as an effective antidote to the stress, anxiety, and mental narratives that make life feel unmanageable and sometimes overwhelming.
Founder of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and professor emeritus at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Jon Kabat-Zinn is the trailblazer behind the American mindfulness movement. Jon, author of Full Catastrophe Living, Wherever You Go, There You Are, Coming to Our Senses, and Mindfulness for Pain Relief, among other books, brings six decades of experience practicing and teaching mindfulness to these sessions, an intrinsically liberative practice that can free us from the prisons of our own mental creations.

Recordings will be available the day after a session is live. Refer to your session reminder email for links to the recordings.
Weekly Live Guided Meditations
Weekly live guided meditations are offered each Wednesday at 8:30 am PST | 11:30 am EST. Add the weekly meditations to your personal calendar
How to Participate
The events are hosted in Zoom.
Lion’s Roar members — as well as those who signed up to be part of this month’s Jon Kabat-Zinn series — will receive a reminder email with your access link at least one hour before each live session begins.
We encourge you to add the live talk and weekly meditations to your personal calendar (see links above) for reminders and convenient access.
