Earlier this month, Zen teacher, actor, artist, and author of the new Zen In the Vernacular Peter Coyote gave a talk with the refreshing and playful title, “Stumbling On the Path: A Short History of a Miscreant’s Transition to Buddhism” at San Francisco Zen Center. It’s a charming and inspiring account of Coyote’s life on the path, and how Zen, the Beats, and politics and activism have come together in it. Check it out here.

For more from and about Coyote, don’t miss his personal recollection of sitting his first-ever Zen retreat, or Jennifer Keishin’s Armstrong’s Lion’s Roar profile, “The Zen of Peter Coyote.”
