Brother Phap Luu
Ordained in 2003, Brother Phap Luu received Transmission of the Lamp from Thich Nhat Hanh to teach in 2011. He helped start Wake Up, the Plum Village movement for young people, as well as the Happy Farm, Plum Village’s organic farming community, and has been working with Wake Up Schools since its inception in 2012 to bring mindfulness to schools. He has served as a monastic editor for a number of Thich Nhat Hanh’s books, including "Happy Teachers Change the World," "Stepping Into Freedom," "The Admonitions and Encouraging Words of Master Guishan," and "How to Focus." Brother Phap Luu leads mindful backpacking retreats in nature around Deer Park Monastery in Escondido, California, USA; Joshua Tree National Park; the Sierra Nevada; and on the Appalachian Trail.
Samuel M. Grimes
Samuel M. Grimes is the Shinjo Ito Postdoctoral Fellow in Buddhist Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. He specializes in the Buddhism of Nepal, both through engagement with the contemporary Newar Buddhist community in Kathmandu as well as through the engagement of texts written in Sanskrit or Newar. His Newar teacher is Yagyamanpati Bajracharya, a member of the Jamal, Shikamu, and Lakyu viharas.

Cheryl Fraser PhD is a psychologist, sex therapist, and dharma teacher. She is the author of <em>Buddha’s Bedroom–The Mindful Loving Path to Sexual Passion and Lifelong Intimacy</em> and the host of the <a href="https://drcherylfraser.com/dr-cheryl-podcast/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sex Love & Elephants</a> podcast. She created the Become Passion online couples immersion program. William S. Waldron
William S. Waldron got his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1990 after extensive travel and study in Asia with native Indian, Tibetan, Chinese, and Japanese scholars and three years of research at Ōtani University in Kyoto, Japan. He has been teaching courses at Middlebury College since 1996 on Indian and Tibetan Buddhism, comparative philosophies of mind, and theory and method in the study of religion. His publications focus on the Yogācāra school of Indian Buddhism in dialogue with modern thought. His first book, The Buddhist Unconscious: The Ālaya-Vijñāna in the Context of Indian Buddhist Thought, was published by Routledge Curzon in 2003. He regularly gives talks and workshops at Dharma study groups in America and Asia, focusing on Yogācāra and contemporary topics. When he is not teaching, he may be found wandering the shores of Lake Huron or doing kora with his wife in Kathmandu, Nepal.
